REACHING OUT TO WOMEN IN POLICE FAMILIES

appreciation event for women in police families. The event included motivational
speakers from the USA and Cape Town, music, food, door prizes and more!
IN THE SPIRIT OF UNITY
Adopt-A-Cop
hosted a training series known as "Operation Code 4" workshops in Cape
Town, South Africa. The training included classroom teaching and
role-play exercises on High Risk Traffic Stops and Building Searches.
It was a practical way to bring participants from local traffic
departments, the national police and private alarm companies together
to exchange ideas and develop mutual support.
TWO PEAS IN A POD
This picture was taken at the TableView Police Station in South Africa with Superintendant Jakke van Litsenborgh. The TableView Police Station is one of the highest ranking stations in the Cape. Many of their officers were participants in Adopt-A-Cop and Pointman workshops. Jakke and his staff hosted the Adopt-A-Cop team at the TableView police station for a Braai (BIG South African BBQ) in our honor. Jakke is a huge supporter of the program and a great friend.
PARTIPANTS RECEIVE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
Pointman Leadership Institute worked with Adopt-A-Cop in Africa. Pointman instructors taught on ethics, leadership skills and gave an "optional" Gospel presentation (attended by more than 95% of workshop participants). This was a great partnership. We hope to serve with Pointman again soon.
